Ruden Investigations is led by Dan Ruden, a retired Deputy Chief of Police, licensed North Carolina private investigator, and graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Dan brings more than three decades of law enforcement, investigative, supervisory, courtroom, and training experience to his work as a private investigator. His background includes criminal investigations, police operations, public safety leadership, case preparation, courtroom testimony, and professional training.

Dan also serves as a college instructor in criminal law and criminal evidence, giving his investigative work a strong foundation in case preparation, court process, documentation, and evidentiary issues.

In addition to his investigative work, Dan provides professional training and consulting in hazardous materials, emergency preparedness, and public safety operations. His combined background in law enforcement, education, and professional training supports a practical, organized, and objective approach to investigative assignments.
